However, only the maid consumed the buttermilk and she immediately dozed off whereas the children swigged coke from the refrigerator and went to meet their mother in Nirvana Country, Sector 50.

CCTV cameras inside the apartment have caught the cook, Shankar, mixing sedatives in the buttermilk before offering it to the domestic help. He is also seen uneasily roaming around in the house since he is in hurry to flee from the apartment.

The accused is reported to have taken leave on Holi and it seems that he brought the tools for breaking in the house on that day.

“He was mentally prepared and was quite professional and I am scared just thinking how we were living with a criminal all these days,” said Sheetal Rana.

Subhash Dhingra, Sheetal’s father, said, “Domestic help are needed by people and employers have to trust them. Shankar was living in the apartment as a family member. He had easy access to the house and had won our trust.”

Meanwhile, a senior police official said that they have sent teams to Delhi and other neighboring states for furtherer investigation.
