However, the district administration is planning to hold the meeting behind closed doors with only the complainants and concerned builders allowed to be present before the forum.

The district administration has listed 18 topics for the meeting, which will be heard by additional chief secretary P Raghavendra Rao Gurgaon and deputy commissioner TL Satyaprakash, along with the officials of the town and country planning department and other members of the forum.

Sources said out of the 18 topics, five have been taken from the CM window -- an online grievance portal overseen by CM Manohar Lal Khattar’s office -- and the remaining 13 have been listed by buyers with the forum headed by the deputy commissioner.

Speaking about the decision to hold the AGRF meeting behind closed doors in the DC’s court, a senior government official said matters have reached a point where decisions have to be made and the forum has understood the seriousness of the issues. “Now we need to discuss finer points and decide the future course of action as we are beyond claims and counter claims,” he said.

The last AGRF chaired by Raghavendra Rao on August 12 went on for six hours and he heard 30 grievances. It was in this meeting that Rao had issued directions with regard to Unitech projects and also called its promoter Ramesh Chandra for a meeting with buyers in Chandigarh.
