On Tuesday morning, they once gain knocked on his door. When he did not respond, they became suspicious. They alerted the security guards, who broke open the gate and found him hanging from the ceiling fan with the help of a bedsheet,” Vikas Kaushik, inspector, Sector 53 police station said.

The police also said that though it appears Priyadarshi killed himself, but they have not found any suicide note in the apartment. His mobile phone and laptop were locked.

“We are interacting with Priyadarshi’s roommates, and have also seized his laptop and mobile phone for clues. The parents might also share some details which would give some clarity regarding the suicide,” Kaushik said.
