Gurgaon: Best friends from college top PGET

Two medical students — Arti Goel from Delhi and Mudita Verma from Gurgaon —have got the top two positions in the post-graduate entrance test (PGET) for dentistry conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.

Apart from being toppers in the PGET exams, these girls have much more in common. Both Arti and Mudita, who pursued their course from Manipal University in Mangalore, lived in adjacent rooms during the five years of their college, shared a common set of friends and travelled together to home.

After clearing the prestigious exams, both of them have opted for endodontic as their subject for their post graduation in colleges in Bangalore. While Arti (rank 1) has chosen the government dental college, Mudita has opted for VS College.

Both girls are very different in temperament and character. Arti, who lives in South Extension, New Delhi says that she never studied for more than seven hours a day. “People usually study all day long for entrance exams, but I could not sit for more than six-seven hours a day, said an elated Arti.
