Buses from NCR towns, including Gurgaon will not enter Delhi and commuters will have to bank on their own means of conveyance or the Delhi Metro.

Due to the strike, services of the Gurgaon-Karol Bagh and Gurgaon-Chandigarh Volvo buses, too, may be disrupted.

The Gurgaon police commissioner Alok Mittal had a meeting with his traffic counterparts in Delhi on Thursday and Friday, but the union members could not be placated.

It was decided that for the next one week, Haryana buses would be spared and then their challans would be videographed for authenticity. There would be a nodal officer whose number would be given to all Haryana drivers so that they can call him up in case they felt they were penalised wrongfully.

The entire Gurgaon depot staff associated with management of the buses has been asked to report at 5 in the morning on Saturday. More than 100 buses plying to Jaipur, Rewari, Ajmer, Narnaul and Chandigarh would be affected due to the strike. These would include 50 buses of Gurgaon depot and 50 from others.
