No PNG supply for Gurgaon’s Ambience Island residents since 4am

Residents of Ambience Lagoon and Caitriona apartments are without the supply of PNG since 4 am as the pipeline was damaged by a cellular operator laying down cables.

Residents of Ambience Lagoon and Ambience Caitriona apartments were without the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) since 4 am Tuesday as the pipeline was damaged by a cellular operator which was laying down optical fibre cables early morning on the road connecting the condominiums.

Isha Singh, a resident of block A, said, “I heard machines carrying out road digging at 4am but I did not realise they will damage our PNG pipelines. When I went to the kitchen in the morning, I realised there was no gas”.

The residents are dependent on PNG pipeline supply for fuel as all of them have surrendered their LPG connection.

“How can one survive without gas these days, we are dependent on the PNG pipeline and have already surrendered our LPG connection,” said Neeti Dabral another resident.

“What can be more disheartening than to see your children going to school without eating anything”, said another resident Veena Talwar.

The residents were also upset as they were not even informed before digging up the roads. “Who starts the work at 4am, when the residents are sleeping. We had to get up due to the noise made by machines and despite several requests the contractor working with cellular operator didn’t stop them,” said Sanjay Lal, another resident.
