In addition to launching the Gurugaman bus service, on Sunday, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar also laid the foundation stone for the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority’s Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC).

The ICCC, which will be built at a cost of Rs 62.77 crore, will serve as a nodal point where all data regarding key infrastructure verticals, such as traffic management, pollution monitoring, property tax management and so on, will be made available. The project is expected to be completed in nine to 12 months, in a phased manner.

Khattar also laid the foundation stone for widening the Pataudi Road from Capt Umang Bhardwaj Chowk to Northern Peripheral Road, also known as Dwarka Expressway, to six lanes at an estimated cost of Rs 80.75 crore. This road will continue on to Hero Honda Chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, which will also be widened to six lanes. It is expected that once complete, this route will reduce the travel time to the Indira Gandhi International Airport via Hero Honda Chowk to 15-20 minutes.
