Haryana CM vows to give Faridabad its due

CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda says that the state government is formulating a plan for the industrial hub

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday declared that the state government is formulating an ambitious plan for the development of Faridabad and is determined to restore the lost glory of the industrial city.

Speaking as the chief guest at the diamond jubilee celebrations of Faridabad Industries Association (FIA) in Faridabad, Hooda said all facilities would be provided to give a boost to industries in the city.

He said the city was one of the leading industrial towns in the country and would soon be recognised as one internationally.

Appreciating the contribution of city industrialists in the development of the state, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said Haryana has emerged as one of the leading progressive states in the country.

“The progress of any state could be assessed on the basis of four parameters — per capita income, per capita investment, per capita plan budget and resource mobilization.

In all these spheres, Haryana is ahead of other states,” he said.

Showing surprise at Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi’s claim that milk in Delhi was being supplied from Gujarat, Hooda said the per capita milk production in Gujarat is 400 gram, which is way behind Haryana’s production of 750 gram.
