To ensure transparency, the Haryana School Education Board has approved a policy to provide photocopies of answer sheets to the examinees. Now, a candidate can seek a photocopy of his answer sheet within 60 days of the announcement of result by paying a fee of Rs 500.

If the answer sheet has not been collected as stack, the secretary can order that the copy of the document be arranged.
A spokesperson of the board said the decision had been taken on the recommendations of a committee constituted by the board on the directions of the high court.
He said a copy of the answer sheet would be provided to the examinee within three days after a request is received.
If the answer sheet is in the process of re-evaluation, as applied by the examinee and is not satisfied with the same, he can apply for the document’s photocopy within 15 days of the re-evaluation along with the prescribed fee.
The spokesperson said after getting the photocopy or the evaluated or re-evaluated answer sheets, if any discrepancy such as a mistake in the totalling of marks or unmarked questions is pointed out by the student within 15 days, the re-evaluation branch would rectify the same without charging any fee.
