On Monday, Huda administrator Praveen Kumar asked the concerned officials to repair all roads in the next ten days. Kumar also asked his officials to "ensure that potholes do not appear on city roads at least for the next two years".

The action came after Haryana chief secretary PK Chaudhary inspected city roads and asked Huda to fill all potholes by October 15. Some of the major roads that come under Huda's jurisdiction include 5-km Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, 7-km Sohna Road and 7-km Southern Peripheral Road (SPR).

"The junior engineers and sub-divisional engineers will be held responsible for any lapse in the repair work and for poor quality of materials used," said the administrator.

Huda has formed three teams to supervise the repair works across the city. The team headed by junior engineer RS Kataria will check the quality of concrete that has to be purchased from a Faridabad-based dealer, while the team headed by sub-divisional engineer Amit Rathi would look into quality and purchase of emulsion tar coal.
