The Gurgaon police arrested two more persons accused of the Manappuram daylight heist from Kanpur and Farrukhnagar on Wednesday. One of the arrested Asif is suspected of conducting a recce of the Mannapuram branch at New Railway road from where armed men had looted 33 kg gold worth ₹10 crore on February 9.

Police said the second man arrested, Navin, from Farukhnagar had received 2 kg gold from the prime accused Devender alias Deva for selling it in the market, police said.
The police had earlier arrested eight accused who carried out the heist. Police had on Monday arrested four men from Kanpur and recovered 2.5 kg gold from them.
On February 11, police had arrested three accused from the city and one from Ahmedabad, and recovered 30kg gold and some of the cash looted from the branch of the financer. Also, two pistols, four rounds of ammunition, two motorcycles, and a car were recovered from them.
