The probe into the WNS credit card fraud case has hit the wall after main accused Gagandeep Singh left the country. The police are yet to get clues on the whereabouts of the key accused.

Although the other two accused — Sumit Singh Tomar and Tanmay Gautam — have been in touch with the investigators, the police have not let them off the hook.
The three employees of BPO firm WNS — Gagandeep Singh, Sumit Singh Tomar and Tanmay Gautam — were booked for fleecing of overseas credit card holders by unauthorised use of card details for online shopping.
Meanwhile, talking to Hindustan Times, the duo said they were not involved in the crime and were victims of the machinations of the main accused. Tanmay said, “Gagandeep used to talk about his plans to settle abroad. He was very friendly and I could never imagine he would play such a fraud on me.”
Sumit also endorsed his former colleague’s version.
“He became my friend during training. He used to talk about opening an account in a US bank online. He took my clients’ card details while I used to attend calls. I am paying a big price for making friendship with him,” said Sumit.

But the firm management refused, saying they would be reinstated only after the case comes to closure
