While people commuting between Delhi and Gurgaon will no more have to pay toll, the ministry has made provisions to allow the lenders or the substitute concessionaire to collect an enhanced toll at KM-42, better known as the Kherki Daula toll plaza, by combining the rates of the two toll plazas.

The ministry has also made room for another hike in the toll rate keeping in mind the withheld revision pending for the past two years as provided in the concession agreement. The escalation is made on the basis of the wholesale price index (WPI).

Now, a car will have to pay Rs 56, which will be a combination of Rs 27 for Kherki Daula, Rs 21 for Sirhaul and Rs 4 as the hike on both the rates.
