A survey reveals that one in every five women are so shy about their bodies that they are unwilling to undress in front of their partner.
More than three quarters said they are most unhappy with their flabby stomachs and thighs.
And half of the 1,500 questioned said that lack of confidence in how they looked left them repressed in their sex lives. Twenty one per cent admitted they would not make love with the lights on, according to a report by the Mirror.
80 per cent said if they were a model size 10 they would be more confident. Fitness expert Dax Moy of handbag.com said: "Body confidence comes from adopting a healthy attitude towards your body, good nutrition and exercise."
