With Indian Ayurveda emerging as a popular alternative treatment in Malaysia, experts are seeking India’s support in expanding the reach of the traditional medicine among Malaysians. The president of the Malaysian Society for Complementary Medicine, Dr Lee Chee Pheng has invited the National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) in Bangalore to undertake joint research on natural herbs with the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia.
