My fitness mantra: It is not just important to have a fit body; but also to have a healthy body. You can be three kilos overweight but still be healthy.

My fitness regime: I have stopped running these days as it makes me lose weight on my face, which I hate, I don’t like angular faces. So I walk in the park for four-five kilometers. I do ab exercises and a bit of cardio — and that’s enough for me.

My diet: I don’t follow any kind of diet. I eat butter and cheese. I can follow a diet for five days but on the sixth day I'm back to gorging on food. But yes, I am cautious about my food intake. I eat natural food, home-made food and take as much protein as possible from the food available at home.

The Bollywood heroine with the fittest body: Kareena is looking super hot nowadays but I don’t envy her because she has worked hard for it and if I put in that amount of hard work, I will also achieve what she has. But I envy Shilpa Shetty’s phenomenal body because I know I can never get her kind of body.

My best body feature: My nose.

My worst body feature: I would like to reduce weight on my thighs.

The body part I love training: I don’t know whether I love it or I have to do it but it is the lower body.

I started exercising after looking at: Nobody. I would never do anything after looking at somebody. I started because (a) I need to do it (b) I was required to do it and (c) I realised I had better do it.

I started working out at the age of: 17-18.

My first workout was: During Salaam-e-Ishq. Earlier I would do only cardio and abs, but I did weight training for the first time then and it was very strenuous. It was sheer hard work for a complete month.
