Almond scrub:Soak almonds in hot water till the skin comes off. Dry and grind into a powder. Keep this powder in an airtight jar. Every morning, add a little curd or cold milk to two teaspoons of the powder and rub the mixture gently on the skin. Wash off with water.
Turmeric help: Add turmeric to curd and apply daily. Wash it off after 20 minutes.
Cucumber magic: Mix cucumber pulp with yogurt and apply on the face daily. Wash it off after 20 minutes. It suits oily skin.
Sunburn cure: Cold milk applied daily, using cotton wool, helps lighten skin colour. It works for normal to dry skins. Another remedy to soothe sunburn and protect the skin is using a handful of crushed sesame seed added to half cup of water. Leave for two hours. Strain the liquid and use it to wash your face. Or, mix one teaspoon honey with two teaspoons lemon juice and apply on the face, washing it off after 20 minutes.
