Maleficent surpassed the $500 million milestone marking Angelina Jolie's highest-grossing live-action film of all time over the weekend.

The Disney
earned $335.6 million internationally and $521.6 million on worldwide box office, passing the company's live-action film Oz the Great and Powerful, which had grossed $493.3 million worldwide.

At the international level, the film earned its best in Mexico with $40.4 million, Russia with $34.8 million, $25.7 million in the U.K. and $24.2 dollars million in Brazil, and the movie is yet to hit the theatres in Japan.
The 39-year-old beauty's previous best was Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005, which had claimed 478.2 million dollars.
