Bollywood remake for Robocop?

"I would, of course, love to make an Indian remake. And I would be completely ok with a Bollywood adaptation, but I am not sure if other people (the audience) there would want it," says filmmaker Jose Padilha.

Film-maker Jose Padilha, whose film Robocop is releasing next week, says he’d love to work on an Indian remake of the film.

"I would, of course, love to make an Indian remake. And I would be completely ok with a Bollywood adaptation, but I am not sure if other people (the audience) there would want it," he laughed, when posed the question.



Robocop

is the reboot of the 1987 cult classic film, and it stars Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Michael Keaton and Samuel L Jackson.



It deals with the question of

how corporates are using

the power system for their own selfish interests to advance technology in the world which may not necessarily be for the betterment of the people.
