Actor George Clooney has signed on to produce the movie adaptation of Tracy Letts' Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning play August: Osage County.
Hollywood beauties Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts will play mother and daughter in the drama, to be directed by John Wells, reported Contactmusic.
Clooney and his business partner Grant Heslov will be producing the film. The duo previously tasted success with a play-to-film adaptation - The Ides of March.
