Actors Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander’s upcoming romantic period drama film The Light Between Oceans -- co-produced by Steven Spielberg in association with Reliance Entertainment -- will release in India later this month.
Directed by Derek Cianfrance, the film will release on September 16, read a statement.
The film revolves around a soldier who has returned after fighting in the western trenches of World War I in Europe. He and his wife locate to a sequestered lighthouse, where they stay happily for several years. After some time a baby girl washes up ashore in a life boat.

The Light Between Oceans had its world premiere at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival on September 1.
