While Bollywood biggies are finding it a ‘no big deal’ to release their movies on same dates, Hollywood movies do not seem so sure of themselves. The force does not seem to be with Star Wars’ Indian fans as they may have to wait a little longer than the rest of the world to watch the much anticipated Part 7.

Star Wars decided to avoid a clash with Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani by releasing on Dec 25 and not on Dec 18.

Reports suggest that Walt Disney Studios, the production house for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has decided to postpone the release date of the sci-fi movie by a week. It was supposed to have a worldwide release on December 18 but will now come out on Christmas, December 25.

One possible reason behind this decision could be that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s big film, Dilwale will release on December 18. So of course, it would be unwise on the part of Disney to out the film on the day when Bollywood’s best on-screen couple will be returning to the theatres. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani is also releasing on the same day.

Sorry guys, your light sabers will have to wait a little longer.
