Garfield to be a real life hero

Actor Andrew Garfield has been appointed ambassador for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation (WWO).

Actor Andrew Garfield has been appointed ambassador for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation (WWO). Garfield, 28, who plays the orphaned Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider Man and his real life girlfriend and co-star Emma Stone turned up to support founder Dr Jane Aronson at a charity party, where he was named the new ambassador.

“Andrew’s partnership with the WWO is about that superhero within each child. Every child grows up loving superheroes and dreaming about doing great things,” Aronson said.
