Actor Gwyneth Paltrow beauty regime is painful: She gets stung by bees.

Paltrow shared that she underwent a series of treatments to make her look young and feel healthy, including getting stung by bees, reports aceshowbiz.com.

“I’ve been stung by bees. It’s a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy. People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring. It’s actually pretty incredible if you research it. But, man, it’s painful,” The New York Times quoted the 43-year-old actor as saying.

Apitherapy also covers the use of honey for medicinal purposes as well as being stung - bee venom therapy.

Paltrow claims the regime which she intensifies by adding extra weights to her ankles for extra definition, has left her with a behind that is comparable to a “22-year-old stripper”.

She also explained other beauty treatments that she took recently, like using only mineral sunscreens and avoiding any chemical substance. She also stopped wearing any fragrances because “it’s unregulated and all that.”
