Manish has lost 14 kilos for this film, and will be seen sporting 6 packs. He shares, “I’ve worked very hard to get this physique. It took me six months to get six packs. I followed an army-like regime and worked out like a maniac.”

Talking about this decision to venture into films, Manish, who is currently shooting in the city, says, “Like many others in the TV world, I always wanted to do films. However, I was not desperate to be in Bollywood and therefore waited for the right script and right time for it to happen.”

When asked about the film, he says, “It is a comic thriller. Audiences will get to see me doing comedy and much more. I hope people who have loved my anchoring continue to love my films.” However, Manish has no plans to quit the small screen. “I’m not quitting TV. As I am busy with my films, I am not doing TV as of now, but I’ll be back again,” he says.
