British actress Keira Knightley will star in and produce a thriller taking place in 1920s New York, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Based on the novel by Suzanne Rindell, The Other Typist, will tell the story of a typist for the New York police who specializes in taking depositions from victims and criminals. Her world changes after she meets a co-worker who introduces her to New York's alluring nightlife and underworld.
Production dates haven't been announced yet.
Keira Knightley will be back on screens this winter with Chris Pine in, Jack Ryan, the spy thriller by Kenneth Branagh.
