We still have a few months to go till we get Michael Fassbender-starrer Assassin’s Creed, but a sequel is already in works.
New Regency has signed with producers Jean-Julien Baronnet from Ubisoft Motion Pictures, Frank Marshall through his Kennedy-Marshall Company reported Digital Spy.

Michael Fassbender and Conor McCaughan will also return for the second installment.
The first film scheduled to release by the end of this year, stars Fassbender as Aguilar with Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Michael K Williams rounding off the cast. It’s directed by Justin Kurzel. The story will revolve around genetic memory hopping into the minds of ancestors 15th century Spain.
