Pop queen Madonna’s daughter Lourdes was set to make an appearance in her mother’s movie, W.E. but the singer cut her out of the final edit. She says her daughter took it like a champ.

Pop queen Madonna’s daughter Lourdes was set to make an appearance in her mother’s movie, W.E. but the singer cut her out of the final edit.

“There was a scene where she played a young girl. And I, kind of dragged her out in at the last minute. Ruthless, I know but She took it like a champ,” says the 53-year-old, who stepped behind the camera to direct the historical drama about American divorcee Wallis Simpson and British monarch King Edward VIII.
