The new Batman Ben Affleck may still be keeping mum about his split from wife Jennifer Garner but his childhood friend Matt Damon says he is doing "great".

The 42-year-old Argo star and Damon, who came for the premiere of HBO series Project Greenlight, got clicked together, but Affleck again made a decent escape avoiding any personal questions, reported People magazine.
However, Damon, 44, did speak about his friend. "He's great, he's great. He's got a big smile on his face," he said.
The Departed actor, who co-wrote the Academy Award-winning screenplay of Good Will Hunting with Affleck, also joked about the latter's upcoming birthday on August 15.
"Yeah, I wish him well, but he's forty-three, it's kind of like, meh. What is forty-three? It's not forty, it's not forty-five, it's forty-three. It's a forgettable birthday," he said.
