Singer Nicole Scherzinger, 33, will play the Biblical prostitute, Mary Magdalene, in a remake of the Hollywood flick Jesus Christ Superstar. “Nicole is a big fan of the songs and was desperate to be involved,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. The remake of the original 1973 film will release in 2014.
