Cate Blanchett wonders why she wants to pull a heist and Sandra Bullock has just the right answer. Upcoming and highly anticipated film Ocean’s 8 gave fans a small sneak peek with an exciting new teaser on Monday. The clip show a montage of all the big characters in the movie, in the process of stealing things that don’t belong to them.
The clip begins with Cate and Sandra in a restaurant, quite clearly devising a plan to rob the guests at the MET Gala in a jewellery heist. It then skips from one star to another-- we have Rihanna wielding a pair of tongs, Helena Bonham Carter eyeing a diamond necklace, Cate and Sandra counting cash, Sarah Paulson shopping for some carton boxes, Mindy Kaling working with some tools to perhaps break open the necklace?, Awkwafina saying ‘hi’ and finally, Anne Hathaway slapping a man in skimpy, lacy night dress.
There are safes, more jewellery, more disguises, some alcohol and a lot of confidence to pull it all through.

{{/usCountry}}The film is directed by Gary Ross of The Hunger Games and is fourth in the Ocean’s franchise, so far spear-headed by male actors like George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt. Sandra plays the estranged sister of Danny Ocean, played by Clooney in the first three films. It is scheduled to release in June 2018.
