After taking home two Oscars last year for Slumdog Millionaire, AR Rahman was left heartbroken as he lost out to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for The Social Network in the Best Original Score category.
In yet another blow, Rahman also lost out the Best Original Song to We Belong Together from Toy Story 3
The music mogul took home two oscars for his music for Slumdog Millionaire last year.
But this year he also lost the Golden Globe award and British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award for Best Original Music intoReznor and Ross.
