Robin Wright is joining Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling in the upcoming Blade Runner sequel.
The House of Cards star has been circling the project for weeks and reports suggested she was waiting for her filming schedule on the hit Netflix political drama before agreeing to sign on, reported Variety.
Now it appears she has worked out the timing and she is poised to take on one of three major female roles in the sci-fi movie.

Sicario filmmaker Denis Villeneuve is on board as director, working with a script penned by the original Blade Runner co-writer Hampton Fancher and Michael Green.
The screenplay is based on an idea Fancher previously developed with Ridley Scott, who took charge of the 1982 classic.
