Actress-singer Zendaya Coleman says she was probably refused a service in a store because of her skin tone.

The 20-year-old took to Snapchat on Tuesday to post a series of short videos that explained the ordeal she went through while visiting a branch of Vons - a supermarket chain in North America, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“She then threw my wallet. I can’t make this up! This is what we deal with! She literally threw my wallet and she was like, ‘You can’t afford this.’ It was $400! Long story short, there is so much progress to be done in our world.”
