When legendary Hollywood director Steven Spielberg was discussing filmmaking with the Bollywood fraternity in Mumbai on Monday night, his wife Kate Capshaw and son Sawyer Avery chose to be in Delhi for shopping. Sources were quoted as telling a Mumbai tabloid that the mother and son first shopped at a few prominent markets of the Capital and later moved to Haridwar to visit a spiritual centre that is famous among Hollywood stars.

Spielberg, 66, was seen charming everyone at the Mumbai event that was organised by industrialist Anil Ambani and his wife Tina. Helmed by actor Amitabh Bachchan, the event saw over 40 filmmakers, such as Abbas Mastan, Prabhu Deva, Sudhir Mishra, Kiran Rao, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Anurag Kashyap, Raju Hirani and R Balki. Spielberg’s anecdotes ranged from amusing to personal. “I have never visited shrinks, my films are psychiatric,” he was reported as saying at one instance. Asked why he has never made a Bond film, he said, “I tried ... not once but three times ... it was not successful enough.”
