Taylor Swift will be starring alongside David Beckham, in the upcoming Mark Millar comic books adapted spy film, The Secret Service.

Taylor Swift will be starring alongside David Beckham, in the upcoming Mark Millar comic books adapted spy film, The Secret Service. A production source has revealed that director Matthew Vaugn looked at a number of actresses to play the part before deciding on the, Love Story, hitmaker, as she was a natural on the big screen, the Mirror reported.

The insider revealed that the 23-year-old country singer was someone fresh and unseen in Hollywood terms, which was massively appealing. The source said that Swift will be required to undergo intense martial arts training, so that her character can credibly kick Samuel L Jackson's butt in the flick.

The insider added that it would be Swift's biggest challenge yet and she is very excited for it. The spy flick, which would start shooting in October, is due to hit the box office in November 2014, and would see Elton John and Adele in cameo appearances.
