Jim Carrey is an actor who doesn’t care about not letting his characters from movies spill over into his reality. He has done it once again at the red carpet event of Harper’s Bazaar’s ICONS in New York.
Jim (55) ran into E! News’ Catt Sadler, who was interviewing several film stars and celebrities on the red carpet. Of course, Jim made sure he didn’t make the job easy for her.
At first, he would not even stand in a place for the ‘interview’ and kept roaming in circles, confusing Sadler. “I’ve covered a lot of fashion weeks but this is the first time I’ve run into Jim Carrey,” she said as she moved in circles trying to catch hold of him.
Jim, however, was in no mood for straight answers. “There’s no meaning to any of this. I wanted to find the most meaningless thing I could come to and join and here I am,” he said.
The actor refused to find a single positive thing about the entire event. The interviewer asked him if he didn’t find anyone iconic but even that didn’t make Jim get serious. “Boy, that is just the absolute lowest-aiming possibility that we could come up with,” he said. “I don’t believe that you exist but there is a lovely fragrance in the air,” he added.

{{/usCountry}}Sadler tried one last time to get him to speak sense by commenting on his good look for the night but Jim’s struggle with existence continued. “I didn’t get dressed up,” he responded. “There is no me. There’s just things happening. (This is) not our world. We don’t matter,” he said.
Finally, putting it all to an end, he walked away, leaving a mortified Sadler in his wake. Watch the video here:
