For all Deepika Padukone fans who are wondering if she will be seen on the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday, we finally have somewhat of an answer. Deepika’s stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman has been dropping hints on Instagram that we may actually see the actor at the prestigious awards ceremony.
Saltzman shared a two-part Instagram story in which she declared that she had reached Los Angeles and is excited about Oscars. “Landed in La La Land” and “Oscar here we come” were the captions of the pictures.
The celebrity stylist then posted a picture of Deepika Padukone on her page and wrote “LA here we come. Can’t wait to see this beauty!!!” All these point towards the fact that Saltzman and her team are prepping for Deepika Padukone’s debut at the Oscars this Sunday.
Deepika is currently riding high on the massive success of her Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage. xXx is the highest grossing film of 2017 so far and has made collections exceeding $310 million. Converted to rupees, that figure amounts to Rs 2075 crore. The film’s India collection as of early February stands at Rs 54 crore, 91% of which came in its opening weekend.
