15-year-old gangraped at gunpoint
A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by four youngsters at gunpoint in a village in Mansoorpur area of Muzaffarnagar district on Thursday, police said on Saturday.
A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by four youngsters at gunpoint in a village in Mansoorpur area of Muzaffarnagar district on Thursday, police said on Saturday.
The family of the girl lodged a named complaint against two teenage boys of the village who are absconding after the incident. Muzaffarnagar senior superintendent of police Sudhir Kumar said that incident occurred on Thursday and raids were underway to arrest the accused. Their arrest will also help identify the other accused involved in the crime.
The girl had gone to collect fodder from a field situated on the outskirts of the village. Finding her alone, the four accused allegedly caught hold of her and gangraped her at gunpoint and threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about the incident.
The girl narrated the incident to her family members who lodged a complaint at the Mansoorpur police station.
