Amid CBSE row, Madhya Pradesh mulling 100% digital evaluation of answer sheets

MP's higher education minister said the widespread use of digital technologies is the need of the hour for the effective implementation of the new NEP.

Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar has said that his department is working towards 100 per cent digital validation of exam answer sheets to make the evaluation process more transparent, reliable, and effective.

Speaking at an event in Indore on Monday, Parmar stated that the widespread use of digital technologies is the need of the hour for the effective implementation of the new National Education Policy.

"Our department is working towards 100 per cent digital validation of answer sheets. This will make the evaluation process more transparent, reliable, and effective," he emphasised.

Parmar insisted that adopting technology is essential to bring speed, transparency, and efficiency to the functioning of higher education.

"When the government, technical experts, and universities jointly formulate plans, the education and evaluation system takes on a new direction," he maintained.

"Implementing a digital evaluation system will improve the quality of the examination process, increase the reliability of results, and provide students with more transparent and timely services," he noted.
