GRP sources said liquor bottles of different brands were recovered when the baggage of Rajesh Kumar was searched when he reached Hajipur from Pathankot in Punjab, where he is currently posted.

Kumar, a resident of Desari block in Vaishali district, was arrested for violating the liquor ban in force in Bihar since April 5, sources added. Two relatives who were at Hajipur junction were also arrested for allegedly conniving with the jawan.

A Captain rank officer of Indian Army, posted at Shillong in Meghalaya, was arrested on August 7 when he was found carrying 22 bottles of IMFL and sent to jail.
