CJP claims Instagram account restored after being taken down, Abhijeet Dipke calls out 'bloody cowards'
The CJP said on X that Meta had removed the movement’s Instagram handle, but the party later managed to regain access to the account.
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Saturday claimed that the official Instagram account of the CJP movement had been taken down, sharing screenshots showing the account was unavailable.

Dipke’s Instagram claim
In a post on X, CJP founder Dipke wrote, “They took down the official Instagram handle of Cockroach Janta Party. Bloody cowards!”
The screenshots posted by him showed the CJP’s official Instagram page as unavailable or "user not found", with Dipke alleging that Meta had taken down the account.
The CJP’s official X account also claimed that its Instagram page had been taken down but later recovered.
“CJP Instagram handle was taken down this morning. But we have been able to successfully recover the account,” it wrote.
The party also slammed “those who oppose CJP” for “choosing India’s Independence Day to try to muzzle our voice”.
“We will not be intimidated by such cowardly acts!” it further said.
When Dipke’s Instagram account was ‘hacked’
In May this year, Dipke had claimed that his Instagram account was “hacked” and that he could not access it. He had also said that Meta took down the backup Instagram account used by the CJP.
In a post on X, Dipke said that his Instagram account “has been hacked”. “@Meta, I have lost access to my Instagram account. Trying to recover it but unable to," he wrote in another post.
CJP to launch its 'School Thik Karo' campaign
The Cockroach party will launch its 'School Thik Karo' campaign in Dipke’s village in Maharashtra’s Hingoli district on Independence Day. The campaign aims to improve infrastructure and accountability in rural government schools.
Speaking to reporters after returning from Delhi, Dipke said, "I will commence the 'School Thik Karo' campaign in my village and request the sarpanch there to repair the local government school and make sure that the school has the basic amenities like benches and drinking water.''
''We have formed teams who will visit villages and request people and sarpanchs to take steps to improve the condition of schools, because we want to get this done with everyone's participation," he added.
The campaign was scheduled to begin at Santuk Pimpri village at 7:30am, according to an official release issued on Friday.
He also appealed to people to visit their children’s schools and inform the CJP if they find any facilities or other requirements missing.
