Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday inaugurated the Ganeshguri flyover in Guwahati on Wednesday.
The state government tweeted that the newly-built flyover at Ganeshguri as extension of the original flyover would come as a relief for residents of Guwahati as it is expected to reduce the traffic congestion to a great extent.
In a tweet, Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sharma described the 425.5 metre flyover worth Rs 58.74 crore as an epitome of the dedication shown by the Public Works Department team despite difficulties faced due to the Covid pandemic.
