JD Vance in India highlights: US Vice President's four-day visit comes two months after PM Modi held talks at the White House with Trump, who unveiled 26 per cent tariffs on India.
JD Vance India visit highlights: United States Vice President JD Vance's visit to India kickstarted on Monday as he landed at the Palam airport along with his family. This is JD Vance's first official visit to India and is scheduled for four days, from April 21 to 24. This comes after his official visit to Italy.

He then met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday evening at the latter's residence, 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Apart from Delhi, Vance is also visiting Jaipur currently and will visit Agra on Wednesday.
While in Jaipur, JD Vance visited the Amer Fort, a world heritage site, along with his family. They were welcomed with a traditional Rajisthani dance at the fort. Later in the day, he will also address a gathering at the Rajasthan International Center in Jaipur.
JD Vance and his family will leave on Thursday morning.
JD Vance, along with his wife Usha Vance and their children were received by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at the Palam airport. The US Vice President also received a ceremonial Guard of Honour upon his arrival.
