Man arrested for circulating ‘objectionable’ messages about ‘Bharat Mata’

A man was arrested at Paldi village here on Friday for allegedly circulating “objectionable” content on a popular messaging service, police said.

A case was registered against Suhail on a complaint by BJP workers that he was circulating defamatory messages on WhatsApp against “Bharat Mata”, circle officer Sudhir Tomar said.

Suhail was arrested today, he said.

Investigation is on in the matter, police added.
