‘Ram-Ram Japna, Paraya…’: KCR daughter's swipe at BJP amid poaching claims

Bharat Rashtra Samithi or Telangana Rashtra Samithi (as formerly called) leader K Kavitha on Wednesday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party and said their policy is that of “Ram-Ram Japna, Paraya Leader Apna”- a reference to MLAs poaching claims against the saffron party in the state.

“The only policy that BJP preaches is 'Ram-Ram Japna, Paraya Leader Apna. If the party fails in its horse trading attempts, it uses central agencies to harass leaders of opposition parties,” Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao's daughter was quoted by news agency ANI.
She also asked why the BJP was evading the summons of the investigating panel if it were innocent -- in an indirect reference to some BJP leaders not appearing before the SIT probing the TRS MLAs poaching case.
Kavitha alleged the BJP was misusing its power and money to threaten leaders of other parties to join them as it does not have any organisational strength in Telangana. "We are the people of Telangana, we cannot be threatened - we will fight, win and always be there in service of our people," PTI quoted her.
As the state inches closer to the assembly election next year, Kavitha claimed more and more leaders who have a mass appeal are being harassed by the BJP, especially the popular faces, ministers and MPs of the TRS.
She also slammed the Centre for allegedly reducing the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Nidhi, which according to her was a copycat version of the TRS government's Ryuthu Bandhu Scheme, from 13 crore to just three crore.
