Seven killed in road accident in Uttarakhand

A team of revenue police, with the help of local residents, carried out the rescue operations. The injured were taken to the nearby hospital.

At least seven people were killed and four others injured when the jeep they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge near Laachhi bridge in Pauri District on Thursday.

The accident took place when the vehicle was enroute from Bajaro to Laachhi.

All deceased are said to be locals of Beeronkhal block of Thalisain tehsil.
