Show inked finger to get free check-ups at 1 clinics for 6 months

Residents of Mumbai and Thane who plan to vote in the Lok Sabha elections can avail free check-ups at one-rupee clinics across the city for six months from April 29, the day both cities go to polls.

Dr Rahul Ghule, founder of the one-rupee clinic, recently announced that voters will get free consultancy, eye check-ups and blood pressure tests.

“Patients who visit the clinic after voting can show their inked fingers and register their names. They will then be given a receipt, on the basis of which, they can avail free treatment for six months,” said Ghule. The facility will be available at all branches in the cities – namely at Sion, Kurla, Chembur, Bhandup, Kalwa, Thane, Dombivli, Ambernath, Ulhasnagar and Titwala stations.
