During the trip, he held talks with reputed educational institutions, including the University of Cambridge and Oxford University.

Notably, the Cambridge University, Imperial College London and several other institutions agreed to explore collaborative opportunities with Telangana.

Reddy had initially departed for the UK on August 20 with plans to travel onward to the US.

However, the Centre denied permission for the US leg of his tour, following which Reddy decided to cut short his trip and return home from London.

In a post on X on Sunday, he said he will address all pending issues upon his arrival in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, pressing political issues await the Chief Minister's attention at home.

Controversy erupted after state Forest Minister Konda Surekha's daughter made remarks against Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders.

While the disciplinary committee of state Congress issued a notice to Surekha seeking her reply, the minister said the comments made by her daughter were her personal views and that they should not be linked to her.

Meanwhile, Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao announced a two-day fast on August 24 and 25 in protest against pending dues of students' tuition fees reimbursement scheme.
