A 65-year-old man with heart ailment, collapsed and died of heart attack, while watching a horror film at a theatre in Tiruvannamalai, police said on Thursday.

The man hailing from Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh was watching Hollywood horror flick “The Conjuring 2” with his friend on Thursday when he complained of chest pain and fainted, the police said.

According to the doctors of a private hospital, where he was admitted, the man was declared dead on arrival and he died due to heart attack.

His family did not prefer to file a complaint and took his body to Andhra Pradesh for last rites.
